QUALIFICATIONS AND ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Research interests are in the field of molecular biology and its application to human genetics and are focused on the genetics of heredodegenerative disorders of the nervous system. Special interest on rare hereditary disorders of the nervous system, such as Huntington’s disease, hereditary ataxias, hereditary spastic paraplegia and hereditary neuropathies. She has published over 70 papers in international journals in the field of human genetics, psychogenetics, clinical neurology and neurogenetics (h-index 18, citations 1014, Scopus 03/2020).
