ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Scheduled - Regular admission

Admissions take place daily barring on-call & weekend days.

Scheduled admissions are ordered by the hospital doctors, following an examination in the outpatient clinic

There is a priority list  for regular admissions and interested parties are notified by the admissions department or the Clinic one (1) day prior to admission.

Social security number (AMKA)

Emergency admissions

Emergency admissions take place only on "on-duty" days. The patient arrives, is examined by a physician and, if deemed necessary, an admission order is issued and the patient is admitted to the Hospital.

In the case of an emergency admission the above information should be provided to the Patient Admissions Office on the next business day by the patient or his / her family.
