Dimitrios Tsolakopoulos got his degree in Psychology from Panteion University, and his master’s in psychology: specialization Neuropsychology, from the University of Maastricht in Holland where he followed laboratory specialization and he conducted his master thesis on “The evaluation of a new multidimensional memory test”. He is currently a Ph.D. student in the First Department of Neurology, School of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Eginition Hospital) under the supervision of the Associate Professor Constantin Potagas. His doctoral dissertation is focused on linguistic deficits due to stroke of the right hemisphere. He teaches Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy Department of Aegean Omiros College. His research interests focus on cognitive deficits of post-stroke patients and patients with other neurological disorders, as neurodegenerative diseases. He has received a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation for the conduction of his doctoral thesis. He is also participating in other unfunded research programs. He has also participated in national and international conferences and he has co-authored papers in peer-reviewed journals.
