Evangelia Stanitsa is a Psychologist, Clinical Neuropsychologist, MSc. Evangelia graduated from the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She continued her studies with a master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology – Cognitive Neurosciences of the Medical School of Athens in collaboration with the Montreal Neurological Institute, McGill University of Canada. She was a clinical and research associate at the in-patient clinic and the Cognitive Disorders/Dementia of the 2nd Department of Neurology at “Attikon” University General Hospital. She has actively contributed to the design and implementation of research protocols and has worked in a clinical trial for patients with neurodegenerative disorders. She has publications on peer-reviewed international scientific journals and has also given oral and written presentations on Greek and International scientific conferences. The last years she teaches Psychology and Neuropsychology courses in Aegean Omiros College – University of Essex. Her research interests focus on studying cognitive functions and behavior in patients with neurodegenerative disorders and psychiatric disorders, as well as on the healthy aging. She is a member of the Hellenic Neuropsychological Society (HNPS) and has participated in the works of the Education and Research Committees of the HPNS. Currently, she is a Research Associate of the 1st Department of Neurology, Eginiteion Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
