Dr. Dionysia Kontaxopoulou, Clinical Neuropsychologist, MSc, PhD has graduated from the Department of Psychology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). Furthermore, she has acquired a three-year master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology (Excellence) from the Medical School of the NKUA in collaboration with the University of Texas, Health Science Center and a PhD degree from NKUA, which she completed with Excellence. She was actively engaged as a research associate in research programs and pharmaceutical studies while she has held numerous publications in international and Greek scientific journals as well as presentations at international and Greek scientific conferences. She has served as a Research Associate at the 2nd University Department of Neurology, "Attikon" University Hospital while she is currently working as Research Associate at the 1st University Department of Neurology "Eginiteio" University Hospital. In recent years she has been teaching Psychology and Neuropsychology at the University of West Attica, Department of Early Childhood Education and Care and at the Metropolitan College - University of East London. She has been trained in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy at the Institute of Behavioral Research and Therapy. Finally, she is a member of the Education Committee of the Hellenic Neuropsychological Society (HNPS).
