KOLOVOU DIMITRA

DIMITRA KOLOVOU

Dimitra Kolovou was born and raised in Riza, Xylokastron, Korinthia. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 1996. She completed rural general practice at the General Hospital of Molaoi Lakonias (1997-1998). She specialized at the Pathological and Psychogeriatric section of the Psychiatric Hospital of Attica- Dafni. Next, she specialized in Neurology at Army Pension Fund Hospital and completed the specialization at the Neurology Department of the University of Athens at Eginition Hospital (2004). She worked as a neurologist at the Day Care Center of the Athens Alzheimer Association and she participated in numerous activities of the Association. Since 2005 she is a research fellow at the Cognitive Disorders Clinic of Eginition Hospital. She maintains a private practice since 2005, where she provides services of general neurology. She has publications in scientific journals and oral presentations in conferences. During her continuous evolution as a scientist, she has attended various scientific congresses and seminars.
