Costas Kilidireas MD, PhD is an associate Professor of Neurology -Neuroimmunology in the University of Athens. He has received his PhD in the University of Athens. Post doctoral fellowship in Neuroimmunology in Columbia University N.Y(1989-1992).
His main interests are auto- antibodies in peripheral neuropathy, MS and neuroimmunological diseases, markers of disease activity in neuroimmunology, degenerative diseases, and CJD. Member of ECTRIMS Council (1996-1999), member of Euro CJD- group, member of ESEBIOL of National Drug Organization, member of HELLANI and member of the board of Greek Neurological Society.
He has publications in journals of high impact factor (Lancet,Annals of Neurology, Neurology, Neurology Neuroimmunology and Neuroinflammation).
Current position: Head of the Demyelinating Diseases Unit and Neuroimmunology Laboratory at 1st Department of Neurology, Eginition Hospital, NKUA
