Panagiota-Rafailia Bourtsoukli is a graduate student of the Department of Psychology at the University of Crete, 2022. Her dissertation title was "Cognitive Rehabilitation and Activation of Plasticity Mechanisms in Schizophrenia," for which she received a research excellence award. She holds a Master's degree in "Clinical Neuropsychology - Cognitive Neurosciences" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in collaboration with the Montreal Neurological Institute of McGill University (2022-2024). Currently, she is an associate at the Clinical Neuropsychology Unit of the First Neurological Clinic of Eginition Hospital. Her research interests focus on the study of cognitive functions following stroke and neurodegenerative disorders. Additionally, she is undergoing training in Systemic Psychotherapy, with a key interest in the psychoeducation of caregivers of individuals with neurodegenerative diseases.
