Efthalia Angelopoulou is a neurologist, having completed her residency education in the Aiginition University Hospital of Athens. She has a Master of Science Degree in “Molecular and Applied Physiology” of the Medical School of Athens, and her dissertation was about the environmental risk factors and clinical characteristics of Parkinson’s disease. She has contributed to more than 40 peer-reviewed publications on neurological and specifically neurodegenerative disorders. She is Representative of Residents and Research Fellow Section (RRFS) of the Scientific Panel of Neuroepidemiology of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN). She is currently a member of the scientific team of the “Specialized Unit of Memory, Dementia and Parkinson’s disease through the National Telemedicine Network” coordinated by Ass. Professor of Neurology and Neuropsychology Sokratis G. Papageorgiou, and she participates in the European Program SI4CARE.
