Dr. Constantinos Papadopoulos MD, PhD is a Consultant Neurologist at the 1st Department of Neurology of the University of Athens at Eginitio Hospital since 2016. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Athens (2004) where he also completed his postgraduate studies under the supervision of Prof. P Manta (PhD: 2013) in the field of inflammatory muscle diseases. He was trained in Neurology in Brussels and Athens and is a collaborator of the Laboratory of Muscle Disease of the 1st Department of Neurology at Eginitio Hospital since 2007. In 2015 he completed a fellowship in neuromuscular diseases (Institute of Myology in Pitié-SalpertièreΗospital in Paris, France), after a scholarship obtained from the Hellenic Neurological Society (1st Price). During this scholarship he obtained the Inter-university Diploma of Myology (Pierre et Marie Curie/Paris VI University and Aix-Marseille II University). Dr. Papadopoulos is a member of the World Muscle Society, of the French Society of Myology and a member of the board of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism. His clinic and research interests are focused on diagnosis and treatment of patients with muscle diseases. He has published a large number of articles in academic journal and has participated as an invited speaker in many Greek and international congresses.
